This long standing law firm requires a conveyancing clerk to work an ongoing temporary role!

Based in a great CBD fringe location with well-appointed and mode
offices, this is a unique opportunity to work on a PART-TIME basis. Our client is flexible with the arrangement and happy to consider 3 full days or perhaps reduced hours across more days.

As a Conveyancing Clerk, you will manage a portfolio of residential and medium sized development matters and be confident do so unsupervised.

Ideally, you will have a confident attitude and be able to hit the ground running, managing duties including:

– Conducting company searches, ASIC searches, title searches
– Preparing conveyancing documents
– Reviewing and collating contracts
– Coordinating settlements
– Lodging documents post settlement
– Preparing client invoices

To be considered in this role, you will be an experienced conveyancing clerk (5+ years experience). You will also be highly organised, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and engage with people at all levels.

THE OPPORTUNITY

– well established, high patient load, huge earnings soon to be fully renovated
– independant privately owned practice with three FTE GP capacity
– high density population, metro area, 12km to CBD
– this full time or part time opportunity arises as a result of replacement, which occurs alongside significant growth in patient numbers
– the practice team includes: Practice Nurse, Onsite Pathology, Physiotherapy, Podiatrist
– this is a mixed billing practice, with 30% of billing private
– you will typically see 25 plus patients per day
– you will earn $150/hour, or 70% billings, whichever is higher
– based on current figures, you can reasonably expect to achieve weekly billings of $9000 – $10,000 per week from your first working month
– the practice has AGPAL accreditation
– practice will have a high spec refurbishment completed in the coming months. A management plan is in place to enable you to ensure you continuity of care to patients
– practice open hours are: Mon – Fri 8am to 6pm, the practice manager is able to be flexible on the hours that you set yourself to work
– its expected that a contract of 12 months minimum will be offered, this length can be negotiable
