Leading global digital publisher renowned for their high quality valued products within the Education sector around the world, requires a customer focused IT Support Engineer with native speaking mandarin to support new and existing customers throughout APAC
Reporting directly to the CEO this role will see you working with new and existing customers through the authentication process to trial the products or onboard them as new subscribers. You will liaise with their IT teams to create and mange their accounts with a high level of support for accessing their online services both domestically and Internationally as wells as troubleshooting any issues in the process. The second part of the role is providing general IT support to the local office employees for any issues on new employee onboarding.
Key responsibilities include:
– Managing and resolving customer issues to ensure an amazing customer experience
– Create reports on customer usage of the products
– Manage the entire authentication application process to ensure smooth access to the products
– Update accounts in the CRM
– Provide general IT support for employees based in the Sydney office (PC, Mac, e-mail, LAN, VoIP, VPN, backup)
– Provide desktop support Windows 10
– Provision of Windows 10 Pro desktop support on PCs
– Basic technical support for desktops and laptops
– Set up computers, software, network, VoIP and other IT services for new employees
Essentially you can speak Mandarin and English fluently and have demonstrated experience as a Level 1 support engineer. You have excellent communication and customer service skills and are passionate about providing solutions for people. You are experienced in Microsoft Office and have had some exposure to cloud services such as SWS. GCP and Azure as well as databases such as SQL Server, Access, MySQL, and Postgres.
